Is San Francisco a “Superstar City”?

Carol Lloyd of the San Francisco Chronicle wrote a wonderful article this past Sunday about “superstar” cities in the world and how resilient they are in the ups and downs of the real estate market.  This article just goes to the point that we have always made, which is San Francisco is one of those world-icon cities which has a lot of talent,  a lot of resilience, high education, economic opportunity, health, culture, etc.  It is for this reason that many people, around the world, want to live here in our fair city.  As Carol says, “not only is it the center of innovation (a measurement based on patent filings), but it boasts by far the most “star scientists” worldwide.  What is perhaps  most important, the Bay Area has a reputation that just doesn’t stop.”

 We have been saying this for years.
