San Francisco Open House Activity is Erratic!
It has been very interesting that many in the San Francisco market are really trying to quantify and figure out the open house activity in various areas of the City lately. And I as I told a Michigan real estate agent trying to figure out our difference neighborhoods, it is very difficult to categorize and pigeon hole our City into different parts. San Francisco is so diverse and so varied in demographics, types of properties and areas, that it is hard to say open houses and sales are better for one type of property or area than for another area. Generally though, lofts in the SOMA area are receiving very little traffic in open houses and the more traditional homes and condos in the North part of town and in central San Francisco are getting over 70 people per open house. So the activity varies all over the board, but more traditional housing stock is the strength of the moment!
