Richard Florida Says It Best…..Stay in the Core!

I think it is interesting to note that many of Americans spent the last 50 years moving away from the City centers and that trend is changing.  I think Mr. Florida says it best, in his book, Who’s Your City?: How the Creative Economy is Making Where to Live the Most Important Decision of Your Life, when he says, “Despite it being extraordinarily costly, the Bay Area still offered enough economic incentives, innovation and amenities to offset the expense of living there.  If I had to give advice, I would say to buy homes closer to the core, not in the outlying areas.  The really knowledge driven people.use their time more efficiently, so center locations have become more valuable.”  So many of my friends are considering and talking about how they can stay in San Francisco and not have move out of the City.  Since the City is expensive, it is a challenge, but a challenge that many of us think is worth it!
