Can You Afford a San Francisco Bay Area House?

The CAR Housing Affordability Index measures the percentage of households within a given California county that can purchase a median priced house. All Bay Area Counties’ affordability percentages declined in Q2 2015, and San Francisco is only 2 percentage points above its historic low, last reached in Q3 2007.
